Daniel Rortvedt is an occupational therapist and assistant professor in the department of occupational therapy at Elmhurst College.
He completed a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy at Boston University. His primary area of practice is within pediatric, school-based settings throughout the United States, with a focus on the provision of assistive technology for students with disabilities. Dr. Rortvedt’s current research interests include exploring the influence of technology within daily occupation and clinical practice, as well as exploring the use of Universal Design for Learning as an educational framework.
