Beata Mrugalska is Associate Professor and Head of the Division of Applied Ergonomics at the Institute of Safety and Quality Engineering, Faculty of Management Engineering, Poznan University of Technology, Poland. She holds an M.Sc. (2001) in Management and Marketing from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Management, Poznan University of Technology, and a PhD (2009) in Machine Construction and Operation from the Faculty of Computer Science and Management, Poznan University of Technology. She was awarded the D.Sc. (dr habil.) degree in Mechanical Engineering by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Poznan University of Technology (2019).
Since 2018, Dr. Mrugalska has been a board member of the Center for Registration of European Ergonomists (CREE). She is responsible for promoting the professional title of EuroErgonomist in the international scientific and industrial environment. She is also a board member of the Polish Ergonomics Society, a member of the commission of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a member of the Ergonomics Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Branch Poznan.
Dr. Mrugalska has over 120 publications focused on human factor in modern organizational management concepts. She is an editor or co-editor of 15 books. She serves as a member of 8 editorial boards of international journals, and has been guest editor of three special issues. She was honored as Top Peer Reviewer by Publons for her contribution to the preparation of reviews.
