MD cum laude in Mechanical Engineering on 1999 at University of Salerno(IT), PhD at TUDelft(NL) in 2017.
From 1999 to 2001 he worked with Design Methods research group of University of Salerno. From 2001 to 2002 he worked at Elasis S.c.p.A. research center, employed in Product development Methodologies group. Between 2001 and 2004 he developed his research activities in Italy and abroad: on “Vehicle Experimental analysis” in Delft (NL) at TNO Research Center, in Detroit (USA) at FIAT R/D, in Ispra (IT) at JRC- Joint Research Center; on “CAD and FEM Simulation using explicit codes” in Heidelberg (DE) and in Pomigliano d'Arco (IT) at Elasis. Between 2002 and 2017 he was Assistant Professor at University of Salerno in Industrial Design Methods (Italian youngest Professor in his scientific discipline). From January 2018 is Associate Professor at University of Salerno (Italy) in Industrial Design Methods. Chairman in several International Conferences and Editor/Reviewer for Conference proceedings and Scientific Journals. Prof. Naddeo is author of more than 100 papers in Conferences, Books and Journals. Since 2002 he holds the chair of Design Methods Courses for Mechanical, Chemical, Management and Architecture Engineering; he was supervisor for more than 100 BD/MD thesis. His research activity is focused on Virtual Prototyping and Product Development Methods; Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and Medical engineering are the main fields of application. Research activities are focused also on Computer Aided Modeling and Simulation techniques; those instruments/techniques have been applied on Biomechanics, Ergonomics, HMI application, Comfort assessment. He is chair of International comfort Congress that was held in Salerno (IT) in 2017 and in Delft (NL) in 2019.
