ConneMara is an experienced Principal Human Factors Engineering consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the private, military, government and academic workforces. She has a PhD in Design and Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and is a Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP).  She is the CEO of CMara Consultants LLC her work specializes in human factors engineering and design services. Prior to CMara Consultants, her human factors work was focused on healthcare, the oil/gas, and nuclear industries, the military and academia.

She serves on the professional ergonomics certification board, Board Certified Professional Ergonomics (BCPE), the editorial board for the WORK Journal and the communication committee for International Ergonomics Association (IEA). She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomic Society (HFES) and past Chair, Program Chair and Newsletter Editor of the HFES Environmental Design Technical Group. She has and continues to present papers, panels, and workshops nationally and internationally.

Life balance activities for ConneMara include family and friends, skiing, yoga, writing, watercolor painting playing piano, and travel.
